Your inbox, but calmer.

InboxHaven is a friendly email assistant for your phone. Within a day you get a smaller inbox, more free storage and a short daily list of what actually needs you.

It never acts without your say-so. Nothing is sent, deleted or unsubscribed until you tap to approve it.

Planned for iPhone and Android, with Gmail, Outlook and Hotmail at launch.

What it can do

Switch on as little or as much as you like. Every feature has its own switch.

Tidy up

  • See what's clutter, sorted by type and sender
  • Clear old promotions and social mail in one go
  • Unsubscribe from newsletters you never open
  • Free up storage, with everything going to the Bin first
  • A weekly check for new senders, and that old ones have stopped

Stay on top

  • A short morning list of emails that need a reply, a decision or a payment
  • Deadlines, bills, appointments and school events pulled out for you
  • A heads-up when trials end, renewals are due or prices rise
  • Parcels on the way and return windows about to close
  • Same-day alerts for new sign-ins and password changes
  • Long threads in three lines: who wants what, by when

Replies in your voice

  • Draft replies that sound like you, matched to how you write to each person
  • You read, edit and send. Drafts never go on their own
  • A polite nudge drafted when someone hasn't replied in five working days
  • It learns from the changes you make

Safety first

  • Banks, bills, legal, government, insurance, orders, real people, attachments, starred mail and your own folders are never touched
  • Nothing happens until you tap Approve
  • Instructions hidden inside emails are ignored
  • Passwords, codes and security links are never shown in its messages
  • A weekly scorecard of what it did for you

Time it can save

Email takes a lot of our day. Here's what published research says.

28%[1]

of the working week spent reading, writing and answering email by office "interaction workers" (managers, professionals and sales staff). McKinsey Global Institute, 2012.

143 min[2]

a day spent checking personal email, on top of 209 minutes on work email, in Adobe's 2019 survey of 1,002 US adults. People said only 37% of their personal emails were useful.

117[3]

emails a day reach the average worker, most of them skimmed in under a minute, according to Microsoft's 2025 Work Trend Index, based on Microsoft 365 data.

Estimate

What 10 minutes a day adds up to

We haven't measured InboxHaven's saving yet, because the app isn't built. So here's a deliberately modest example, with the working shown:

  1. Assume InboxHaven saves you 10 minutes a day of sorting, deleting and hunting for what matters. This is our assumption, not a measurement. It's about 7% of the 143 minutes a day in Adobe's survey (10 ÷ 143 ≈ 0.07).[2]
  2. 10 minutes × 365 days = 3,650 minutes.
  3. 3,650 ÷ 60 ≈ 61 hours a year, or about one and a half 40-hour working weeks.

Your own saving could be more or less. We'll replace this with measured figures from testing before launch.

  • Bin first. Deleted mail goes to the Bin first. Permanent deletion happens only when you ask for it.
  • Your data isn't sold. Your email is used only to help you, and deleted when you leave.
  • UK GDPR. InboxHaven is being designed to follow UK data protection law, UK GDPR.
  • No tricks from inside emails. Instructions hidden in emails are never followed, and passwords, codes and security links are never shown.

InboxHaven is still in development and isn't available yet. It hasn't yet been through Google's or Microsoft's app reviews, which it will need before launch.
